Worlds War

How goes the War of the Worlds be seen in 50 years?
The 1950 film is seen as outdated and unprofessional generation modern, but how is the war of the worlds latest film (2005) is seen in 50 years. What can we learn about our own culture and sciety watching the movie.
An unintentional comedy. That is, unless you update and do another remake of it. We learn that fear turns as fast as a lit match and gasoline. I understand where the original was broadcast on the radio that panicked the nation as a whole.
