What are some additional tools you have in your fireman's outfit?
I am getting into the fire service, and some people have told me some extra things to carry in my team in case, as an extra flashlight or wire cutters. I was wondering if anyone had any special tool that led to that some people would not think.
I have a couple of rescue of leather gloves (heavy), and fire gloves and a flashlight, a roll tape, a pair of channel lock pliers, a length of 15 feet of nylon rope, belt and on my truck Is there an ax handle, a utility demolition bar, and another pair of pliers. My belt was also fixing rings for multiple lines of security, and other arts as the situation requires.
