End War
How could World War 1 have been a war to end all wars?
I'm back in high school and write an essay for USA. The history and we need to discuss ways in which the peace conference might have created a world of peace for the future. However, the main question is, how can one of the world, war has been a goal or the war all wars.
Well, before the First World War, the wars were mainly localized things. For example, France and Germany may have been struggling, and that would have affected them, and perhaps the countries around them. WWI was the first time that a war of all those affected, even in other continents. Basically, it looked like a war so great that it could never be one, to boot. But it demanded so much of Germany after the war that Germany was left just bitter and desperate enough to try the whole thing again.
